HOW WE CAN HELP

Supporting young people and local industry, developing awareness of the skills, roles and career pathways available. We offer a range of tailored work placement options including Work Experience, Structured Workplace Learning and School-Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships.

P&P supports our industries, providing primary students insight into skills and career pathways in local businesses.Students explore the world of work through a range of innovative experiences with local businesses, developing self-awareness, confidence and aspiration.

PASSIONS & PATHWAYS

WORK PLACEMENTS

Aged 18-30, YIAs share their career journey with students in upper primary and secondary schools. Participants develop student aspiration and highlight the value of school completion, while increasing their own professional skills and connections.

YOUNG INDUSTRY AMBASSADORS

Local business and community leaders β€˜shadow’ a school principal, strengthening relationships and providing new partnership opportunities. This innovative program has been active in our region since 2016.

PRINCIPAL FOR A DAY

Through a range of supported opportunities, gain insight into engaging with a younger employee and customer base. Address challenges school leavers in our region face entering the labour market through innovative experiences in our growing industries.

YOUTH TAKE OVER

A cutting-edge facility for all Bendigo secondary school students featuring innovative, curriculum-aligned learning experiences exploring real-world problems and developing advanced STEAM knowledge and skills.

BENDIGO TECH SCHOOL

BIF celebrates local innovation, creates the environment for ideas to flourish and fosters world-class innovation thought leaders. Currently on hiatus, the BIF community are planning a return of the event in the near future.

Through the On Track Referral Program, Goldfields LLEN supports young people in our region with proactive advice and guidance with post-school education, training and employment pathways.
